"The guided meditations helped me to feel the complete opposite of what I felt as child growing up in my family. That I do matter, I do exist, and deserve to be seen and heard."

FAQ and Course Compairson
  • How Do I Know if This Course is For Me?
The Overcoming the Mother Wounds e-courses are designed for adults beginning, in the process of, or feeling stuck in their Mother Wound.

  • My Mother Wasn't Critical, But Harmful in Other Ways. Is This for Me?
Yes! There are many types of Mother Wounds, and the OCMW addresses all. While critical mothers and narcissistic mothers are more common, we also address the impacts of absent mothers and overbearing mothers.

  • What Should I Do to Prepare for the Course?
I strongly recommend that course participants are seeing an individual therapist or coach. Having a professional to help you process what comes up is a powerful way to get the most out of the course.

  • Do I Need to be an Artist to Take Your Course?
Absolutely not. We provide an Artist’s License that gives you full qualifications to create. It helps too if you enjoy art making, writing, and discovering parts of yourself you may want to know better.

  • Which Course is Right for Me?

Each course is designed to meet you where you are with what you need. The Evergreen is a Self-Study course and with it you can add the Membership option, a group coaching program for current or former students. The Evergreen and Membership is an inclusive program for adult wanting to overcome their mother wound.

Foundations is a 4 week course to be taken while joining the OCMW Therapy group for women. To join you must live in NY, NJ, CA, or FL, and set up a chat session with Mari.
