Meet the Author, Mari Grande

Mari Grande is a licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Clinical Social Worker in private practice, where she sees individuals and groups online. Originally from California, she now lives and works in New York.

Her specialty is helping her clients work through overwhelming circumstances to understand themselves and their relationships better. She is a Registered, Board-Certified Art Therapist, Psychoanalyst, EMDR Therapist and Consultant, Hypnotherapist, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Mari is on the Institute for Expressive Analysis (IEA) faculty, former Director of Admissions at IEA, and former Director of Advisement at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP) Executive Committee of the Integrative Trauma Program. Her area of expertise is using creativity to heal relational trauma. Mari also offers courses and workshops online to heal trauma through creativity and embodiment in the role of Teacher and Coach.
